Our Treatment Philosophy
Care that reaches the source of your pain—and the heart of your struggle.
Our mission is to support those who suffer from back pain, stiff shoulders, unexplained joint pain, or numbness in the arms and legs.

According to the Comprehensive Survey of Living Conditions conducted by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, an estimated 40 million people—one in three of the population—experience symptoms such as lower back pain, stiff shoulders, joint pain, or pain and numbness in the arms and legs.

Among them, approximately 13 million suffer from back pain and 12 million from stiff shoulders. Yet, orthopedic and other hospitals are able to clearly identify the underlying cause in only 10–15% of cases (Weekly Diamond / “The Mysteries of Back Pain”).
Many patients who have suffered from symptoms for years struggle not only with physical pain, but also with anxiety and feelings of discouragement.
You go to the hospital because the symptoms are unbearable—yet the cause remains unclear. You’re prescribed medication or patches and told to exercise. (But it hurts, and the thought of moving feels frightening.) You try different forms of alternative care. Each practitioner gives you a new list of “don’ts”: don’t cross your legs, don’t sleep in this position, don’t use that pillow… In the worst cases, patients are even told their family lineage is to blame.
Over time, these many instructions accumulate until daily life becomes inconvenient and restrictive. Some people even begin to feel that they themselves are somehow “wrong” or “broken.”
For patients like these, what’s needed is ongoing treatment combined with attentive listening—helping them break free from the burden of endless prohibitions and regain confidence in their daily lives.

The first step is experiencing the benefits of treatment and believing in the possibility of recovery. As the body heals, the mind naturally regains energy and optimism.
We don’t begin by telling you what to do or what not to do. First, we reach out to the areas that hurt and provide focused treatment. It’s important that you can actually feel the results and start to believe in your own potential to heal.
Next, we recognize that many patients struggle not only with physical discomfort, but also with fear, anxiety, or discouragement about living with ongoing pain. That’s why the words and attitude of the practitioner—offering reassurance and understanding—are just as important as the treatment itself.
When positive changes begin to appear in the body, patients naturally feel more hopeful. And when that positivity grows, the effects of treatment also improve. Only then do we guide patients toward exercise and lifestyle changes with confidence and success.
Our slogan, “Hands that reach your pain, words that reach your heart,” embodies this philosophy of care.
